Here is another one of those, “Now why’s that?” infographics. It displays, for several U.S. cities the numbers of crimes committed by time of day. The line graphics present a fairly compelling picture that is quite distinctive by city. One of the more interesting profiles is that of Indianapolis that suggests a tight biorhythmic pattern to criminals in that city. The interactive version of this graphic enables you to see the portion of violent and non-violent crimes by time of day.
